    I was invited to take part in a recent seminar titled "Obama's Foreign Policy under the New Congress: Implications for US-ASEAN/Malaysian Relations and Global Security", co-organized by the Malaysian Association for American Studies and the University of Malaya's Centre for ASEAN Regionalism. Other panel members included former Malaysian Ambassador to the US Datuk Dr. Rajmah Hussain, former Member of Parliament for Kampar James Wong Wing On, and CEO of the Global Movement of Moderates Foundation Dato' Saifuddin Abdullah.

    Giving a talk at the Pekan International Education Conference, an annual research summit held at ICAM Pekan in Pahang, Malaysia. My topic was ed-tech startups, and I presented a paper titled "Educational Innovation from a Global Perspective: Case Studies of Successful Pedagogical Creativity".

    Helping run Model UN Camp in Taiping, Perak, teaching about the United Nations' role in conflict mitigation worldwide. We each role-played a state on the UN Security Council, and worked to negotiate and pass a resolution on the Syrian crisis.

    Running the Pekan World's Fair, a festival of global culture for students from all three Pekan-area ETA schools. Around 120 students, divided into 22 groups, researched a foreign country of their choice and presented a booth showcasing their country's unique culture.
